Dr Victoria Hodge (http://www-users.cs.york.ac.uk/~vicky/) is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the interdisciplinary York Centre for Complex Systems Analysis (YCCSA) in the Computer Science Department at the University of York. She is focussing on data mining for collective game intelligence in the NEMOG Project. She completed a PhD at the University of York in 2001 on information retrieval and has played an important role in several research projects since 2000. Her research is focused around machine learning, artificial intelligence, data mining and knowledge discovery across a broad range of domains. She is experienced at working on cross-disciplinary collaborative projects between universities and industrial partners. She has published 2 books and over 50 peer-reviewed papers across a range of domains and applications and is on the Editorial Board of two data mining journals.
